WHAT ARE YOUR FEES? DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?

My rates for once-weekly 50-minute sessions are:

Individual Therapy/Sex Therapy: $200
Couples Therapy: $250
Polycules Therapy: $300+

For a lower fee service, consider working with Maryana, our new social work intern. Between the two of us, we can definitely meet your financial needs while continuing to provide excellent care and supportive counseling for whatever brings you to therapy at this time.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Unfortunately, I do not take insurance at this time. However, I am happy to assist you in navigating any out-of-network benefits you may have with your insurance, which may cover 50%-100% of my fees. With out of network benefits, you pay the session fee following our visit, I provide you with a receipt or "superbill" that you submit to your insurance, then your insurance company sends you a reimbursement check. Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider to see if you receive out of network benefits:

What is my out of network deductible?
How much of my out of network deductible has been already met?
What is my policy period?
What is my co-insurance?
(If they ask for a CPT code: Individual Sessions = 90834, Couples/Family Sessions = 90847)
How do I submit for reimbursement?
How long do I have to submit my superbill?

I ask that all clients confirm with their insurance if they have out-of-network benefits, as 70% of clients at Wise Therapy get some type of reimbursement from their insurance.

I am available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM. I offer both Teletherapy using HIPAA-compliant video chat and in-person visits in our Prospect Heights and Herald Square offices. I offer free 15-minute phone calls to get to know each other and see if we might be a good fit to work together.
